裏金問題で叩かれた政治家は、一時鳴りを潜めていたようだったが、再度選挙で当選すると、途端にもう党の顔のような感じで、表に立って精力的に活動を始めている。あの問題は、一体どうなったのだろうか。どうも釈然としない。
The politician who was heavily criticized over the slush fund scandal seemed to have kept a low profile for a while, but after being elected again, he has, as if he were already the face of the party, suddenly stepped back into the spotlight and begun working energetically. What ever became of that scandal? It just doesn’t sit right with me.
