I was invited to two separate events on the same day, and since they were at different times, I thought I could make it to both and casually said yes to each invitation. However, I ended up staying too long at one event and couldn’t make it to the other one. I felt bad about it and apologized the next day, but apparently I gave the impression that I was the kind of person who was all talk and didn’t follow through.
