1. Caesars Head State ParkCaesars Head State Park is located in northern Greenville County, SC, only three miles (5 km) from the North Carolina border on US 276. Caesars Head is a granitic gneiss outcrop at 3,208 ft (978 m) above sea level on the Blue Ridge Escarpment of the Blue Ridge Mountains that looks down about 2,000 ft (610 m) to the Piedmont below. Caesars Head State Park and Jones Gap State Park form the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area.
