Haikou Meilan International AirportHaikou Meilan International Airport (occasionally but incorrectly listed as ZGHK) is the largest and newest airport in Hainan Province, People's Republic of China. It is located 25km southeast of the main provincial city of Haikou and opened in 1999. The airport, operated by Meilan Airport Company Limited, serves both domestic and international passengers. As for 2010, Haikou Meilan International Airport was the 19th busiest airport in the People's Republic of China with 8,773,771 passengers.
