Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine EngineeringDaewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. , Ltd (DSME) is the second largest shipbuilder in the world and one of the "Big Three" shipbuilders of South Korea. On 21 February 2011, the A. P. Moller-Maersk Group (Maersk) ordered 10 large container ships from Daewoo, each with a capacity of 18,000 containers, surpassing the current record holder; the Mærsk E-class at 15,200 containers. The first is to be delivered in 2014. There is an option of 20 more.
