1. Lithuanian Christian DemocratsThe Lithuanian Christian Democrats or LKD was a Christian-democratic political party in Lithuania. Originally established in 1905, it was closely associated with the Roman Catholic Church. Although it dominated Lithuanian politics in the early 1920s, it became inactive in the wake of the 1926 Lithuanian coup d'état, and was not re-established until 1989.
