New York, New Haven and Hartford RailroadThe New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad (commonly New Haven), was a railroad that operated in the northeast United States from 1872 to 1968 which served the states of Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Its primary connections included Boston and New York. At the end of 1925 NH operated 1919 route-miles, plus 279 miles operated by CNE; at the end of 1967 it operated 1546 total route-miles and 3343 track-miles.
