1. Calcium chlorateCalcium chlorate is the calcium salt of chloric acid with the chemical formula of Ca(ClO3)2. Like potassium chlorate, it is a strong oxidizer and can be used in pyrotechnic formulations. It is a crystalline substance. It may explode when heated strongly or in the presence of reducing agents, such as organic matter. It can be formed by oxidation of calcium chloride by a strong oxidizing agent.
