1. ShinMaywa US-2The ShinMaywa (formerly Shin Meiwa) US-2 is a Japanese large STOL amphibious aircraft designed for air-sea rescue (SAR) work. The aircraft is currently operated by the 31st Fleet Air Wing (71st Air Force, 71st Flight Squadron) at Iwakuni air base and Atsugi air base. In 2012, the US-2 is being introduced to the Indian Navy to enhance its search and rescue capabilities with no word yet if they will accept the aircraft.
