2. Katsuo OkazakiKatsuo Okazaki was a Japanese political figure. He served as Consul-General in Nanjing after the Fall of Nanking to the Imperial Japanese Army and during the Nanking Massacre. In October 1939 was appointed Japanese Consul at Hong Kong, a position he held until January 1941. He was present at the beginning of surrender negotiations between the Japanese emissaries and American military officials on Iejima in 1945. After the war, Okazaki served as Foreign Minister between 1952 and 1954.
