Evangelical Lutheran Church of FinlandThe Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland (Finnish: Suomen evankelis-luterilainen kirkko; Swedish: Evangelisk-lutherska kyrkan i Finland) is the national church of Finland. The church professes the Lutheran branch of Christianity, and is a member of the Porvoo Communion. The Evangelical Lutheran Church is Finland's largest religious body. As of the end of 2010, 78.2% of the Finns were members of the church a decrease of 1.7% from the previous year.
