Great Britain Olympic football teamThe Great Britain Olympic football team (also known as Team GB; or occasionally Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or prior to 1922 as Great Britain and Ireland) represents the United Kingdom in international football competitions in the Olympic Games. The selection is currently limited to players under the age of 23, although three overage players are allowed in the squad. Prior to the 1984 Los Angeles Games, Olympic regulations limited the selection to amateur players only.
