1. Prince ImseongPrince Imseong was the third son of King Seong of Baekje. He left for Japan, via Taiwan, after his father was killed in a battle against Silla forces in 554. Prince Imseong, a member of the powerful Soga clan, is credited for playing a key role in the formation of the early Japanese state. He supported the introduction of Korean-style Buddhism and other Baekje cultural aspects in Japan.
