1. Ji'anJi'an is a prefecture-level city in Jiangxi province of the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 25,219 km² and a population of 4,810,340 at 2010 census whom 460,194 live in the built up area made of 2 urban districts. The local speech is a variety of Gan Chinese. The former deputy governor of the central bank of the PR of China, Xiao Gang, is from here. This city is also the home of Jinggangshan University.
