1. Bunzō HayataBunzō Hayata was a Japanese botanist noted for his taxonomic work in Japan and Formosa (Taiwan). He was a professor at the Imperial University of Tokyo and third director of the Research Botanical Gardens. The botanist Hiroyoshi Ohashi has published a detailed and useful biography of Hayata.
