Registered Monuments of JapanThis list is of the Registered Monuments of Japan, namely Historic Sites, Places of Scenic Beauty, and Natural Monuments registered (as opposed to designated, for which see Monuments of Japan) in accordance with the Law for the Protection of Cultural Properties 1950. As of 1 May 2012, there were sixty-one registrations of sixty Monuments, Makino Memorial Garden being registered both as an Historic Site and a Place of Scenic Beauty. This list is complete and up-to-date as of 22 May 2012.
