1. Taoyuan DistrictTaoyuan District (桃源區) is a rural district of Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan. It is the district that is most mountainous and most distant from the city center. Not to be confused with the Taoyuan county (桃園) in Northen Taiwan. The population density in Taoyuan district is one of the least in Taiwan, but the area district is the sixth largest. Both Yushan National Park and Maolin National Park covers this district. Taoyuan district is very mountainous with very little flat land.
