1. Yuji ShimadaYuji Shimada (b, November 24, 1966 in Fukuyama, Hiroshima) is a Japanese mixed martial arts referee. He has refereed more than 150 contests in major MMA promotions including Pride Fighting Championships, M-1 Global, Dream and Fields Dynamite!!. He was formerly the head referee for ICON Sport, where we was also the head of the rules committee for ICON. He is also a booker for the Japanese professional wrestling promotion HUSTLE, and plays heel character Private Shimada.
