1. Three Alls PolicyThe Three Alls Policy was a Japanese scorched earth policy adopted in China during World War II, the three "alls" being "kill all, burn all, loot all" . In Japanese documents, the policy was originally referred to as "The Burn to Ash Strategy" . This policy was designed as a retaliation against Chinese Communists following the Hundred Regiments Offensive. The expression "Sankō Sakusen", based upon Chinese terms, was not used by the Japanese military.
