1. Shigeru KatagiriShigeru Katagiri was a senior officer in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. He was the commanding officer of 27th Cavalry Regiment in 1936, before being attached as the Chief of Staff 1st Division between 1937 until 1939. He was then attached to the Army Cavalry School and later appointed as the commanding officer of the 1st Cavalry Brigade. He was attached to the Inspectorate of Cavalry in 1940 and became the Vice-Director of Remount Policy in 1941.
