エスタディオ・ナシオナルの悲劇
1. 1964 Lima football riotThe 1964 Lima football riot (National Stadium Tragedy) of May 24, 1964 is, to-date, the worst riot in association football history. The game, a meeting between Peru and Argentina, was played in a packed National Stadium. It was the final qualifier for the Tokyo Olympics. Argentina was winning one to zero, when, with two minutes left in the game, a goal by Peru's Bertolotti Andrés was annulled. This decision angered the public and marked the beginning of the violence.
