1. WallemiomycetesThe Wallemiomycetes are a class of fungi in the Basidiomycota division. It consists of the single order Wallemiales, containing the single family Wallemiaceae, which in turn contains the single genus Wallemia. The genus contains three species of xerophilic molds that are found worldwide, and typically contaminate low-moisture foods. The three species are W. sebi, W. muriae, and W. ichthyophaga.
