1. Mass of Paul VIThis article is about the post–Vatican II changes to the Mass; for an explanation of the current structure of the Mass, see Mass (liturgy). The Mass of Paul VI is the liturgy of the Catholic Mass of the Roman Rite promulgated by Pope Paul VI in 1969, after the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965). It is the present ordinary or normal form of the Roman Rite of the Mass. For other names that have been applied to this form of the Roman-Rite Mass, such as "Novus Ordo" and "Ordinary Form", see below.
