1. Xu Zhonglin (writer)Xu Zhonglin was a Ming Dynasty Chinese writer, best known as the author of the mythological-fantasy novel Fengshen Yanyi. Some say that Xu wrote the novel for a trousseau for his daughter. His hao (號), a type of Chinese style name, might be "Zhongshan Yishou" (鍾山逸叟), which literally means "a carefree old man living in Zhongshan". The name appears in Chapter 2 of Fengshen Yanyi.
