曽根崎心中
Wikipedia definition
1. The Love Suicides at SonezakiThe Love Suicides at Sonezaki (Sonezaki Shinjū) is a love-suicide play by Chikamatsu. While not his first one (which was probably the puppet play The Soga Successors in 1683) nor his most popular (which would be The Battles of Coxinga), it is probably the most popular of his "domestic tragedies" or "domestic plays" as Donald Keene characterizes the non-historical plays. It was first performed 20 June 1703.
