2. Toi, ShizuokaToi, Shizuoka was a town located in Tagata District, Shizuoka, Japan on the west coast of Izu Peninsula facing Suruga Bay. On April 1, 2004 Toi was merged with the towns of Amagiyugashima, Nakaizu and Shuzenji, all from Tagata District, to form the new city of Izu. At the time of its merger, the town had an estimated population of 5,203 and a density of 105 persons per km². The total area was 49.41km². It is the location of the world's largest flower clock.
