It has uses in perfume and pharmaceutical manufacture. In pharmaceutical manufacture used as a fundamental component in antihistamines,antihypertensive agents and antiallergenic agents. Benzhydrol is used as an intermediate of pharmaceuticals (including antihistamines), agrochemicals and other organic compounds.
