1. Sauber C18The Sauber C18 was the car with which the Sauber Formula One team competed in the 1999 Formula One season. It was driven by Jean Alesi, in his second year with the team, and Pedro Diniz, who replaced Stewart-bound Johnny Herbert. The car proved promising, with a strong race pace throughout the season. However, the year was compromised through poor gearbox reliability and not enough speed in qualifying trim.
