ビラートナガル
1. BiratnagarBiratnagar is a sub-metropolitan city in southeast Nepal. In Nepali "birat" means huge and "nagar" means city. In the past, the region had a king whose name was Birat and the ruins of whose palace can be seen. The name "Biratnagar" for the city comes from the name of King Birat. Biratnagar is the hometown of many influential leaders in Nepalese politics including Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, Girija Prasad Koirala, Manmohan Adhikari and Kirtinidhi Bista.
