Nizam of HyderabadNizam-ul-Mulk of Hyderabad, popularly known as Nizam of Hyderabad, was a former monarchy of the Hyderabad State, now in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra in India. Nizam, a shortened version of Nizam-ul-Mulk, meaning Administrator of the Realm in Urdu, was the title of the native sovereigns of Hyderabad State, India, since 1719, belonging to the Asaf Jah dynasty.
