1. MoenaMoena is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 km northeast of Trento. It is the largest comune in the Fascia Valley. Moena is often called "Rione Turchia" which means "Turkish district/region" due to its inhabitants Turkish origins who arrived in the region during the Battle of Vienna. In the census of 2001, 1,967 inhabitants out of 2,602 (75.6%) declared Ladin as their native language.
