1. Zhang Shi (prince)Zhang Shi was the regional warlord and ruler in the Former Liang state. He was the oldest son of Zhang Kuei who was the governor of the Liang province under Jin. In 314, he inherited the Duke of Xiping and governor of Liang from his father. When Western Jin collapsed, Zhang Shi declared Liang as a regional independent state but retained the usage of Jin emperor calendar system. In 320, he was murdered by one of his men Yen Sha. His younger brother Zhang Mao continued in his place.
