1. Tetsuzō IwamotoSub-Lieutenant Tetsuzō Iwamoto (岩本徹三, Iwamoto Tetsuzō) (15 June 1916 – 20 May 1955) was one of the top scoring fighter aces of the Empire of Japan, during World War II. His total of confirmed claims is believed to be about 80. Iwamoto was one of only a few Japanese aviators to see action over China, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific. By the end of the war, he had served as a Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service (IJNAS) frontline Chutai and flying instructor.
