1. Estill County, KentuckyEstill County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It was formed in 1808. As of 2010, the population was 14,672. Its county seat is Irvine, Kentucky. Formed in 1808, the county is named after Captain James Estill, a Kentucky militia officer killed in the Battle of Little Mountain during the American Revolutionary War. It is a prohibition or dry county.
