1. PivkaPivka is a small town and a municipality in Slovenia in the Pivka Basin in the Kras region. It was first mentioned in 1300 as Sancti Petri super Piucha (St. Peter above Pivka). Until 1952 it was called Šentpeter na Krasu (St. Peter in the Karst). It belongs to the traditional region of Inner Carniola.
