1. Shinkun HakuShinkun Haku is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Shinjuku, Tokyo and graduate of Nihon University, he was elected for the first time in 2004. Haku-san was born to a South Korean father and Japanese mother. As of his birth, Japanese nationality law admitted Japanese nationality for only for the children of Japanese fathers, thus he was granted South Korean citizenship.
