柘榴石
2. GarnetGarnets /ˈɡɑrnət/ are a group of silicate minerals that have been used since the Bronze Age as gemstones and abrasives. The name "garnet" comes from 14th century Middle English word gernet meaning 'dark red', from the Latin granatus granatus coming from granum + suffix "atus", possibly a reference to "mela granatum" or even "pomum granatum", a plant whose abundant vivid red arils contained in the fruit are similar in shape, size, and color to some garnet crystals.
