This is a discussion about 要する

This reading doesn't show on the "要 #kanji" page.

Just wondering if there's a particular reason that there's no よう.する entry on the kanji page, or if it's simply an error.

Typically readings that would take the form of [onyomi]+する are listed in kanji dictionaries as just the onyomi.

Here's a monolingual kanji dictionary that similarly only lists よう.

And the same dictionary's listing that lists かん as a reading for 感, but not かん.じる or something like that. (じる comes from する > ずる > じる, so it's a similar phenomenon).
