Kanji drawing function

I'd like to ask if anybody else has had this experience: in tablet mode, I can write in Word both with my finger and with my pen, and can scroll up and down on web pages etc., so everything works regularly. Except I can't use the drawing function in Jisho. I click on the Draw icon and in the square that appears I try to write (pen or finger) but all that happens is the page itself moves - that is Jisho is not aware that I'm trying to use that square specifically and instead thinks I am trying to scroll down/up the page. I don't think the problems lies with my tablet (Windows Surface pro4, OS Windows 10) but I'm open to all possibilities. Does anybody have any idea why this happens?
PS Calibration for touch and pen has been carried out in the past more than once, but has no effect on this issue.

i mean the drawing function does not even work very well in the first place. I recommend using the radicals to search up for a kanji. Youll learn faster.

At this point the code for the drawing functionality is quite old, it's quite possible we need to update it to work with specific tablets. I'll add it to the list of things to fix in the next version I'm working on.

There are some great tools on github for the recognition. Maybe you can find something that is easy to implement
