This is a discussion about 伯母さん

Difference between forms of 'obasan'

How do kanjis "bo" and "shuku" change the word meaning? Do they make the word the same or is there a more polite form for one of them?

The difference is explained in the description of the word, but I'll copy it here.

伯母さん is older than one's parent and 叔母さん is younger
