You should add this. It was the kanji the camp newspapers used for Tule Lake; tsuru is pretty close to tule I guess.

Jisho.org does not manage the dictionary data, it's just a tool for search/display. Please read the footer. It might be eligible to be added to JMnedict, you can add new data over at their site: http://www.edrdg.org/jmdictdb/cgi-bin/edform.py?svc=jmdict&sid= And select the corresponding corpus.

Also, Wikipedia says that 鶴嶺湖 was used for Tule Lake. Quick web search netted this: https://cdm16855.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p16855coll4/id/50203 But maybe both variants were used? Best to also provide a source when creating the dictionary entry over at JMdict.
