What would be the difference in saying the above sentence as opposed to using oshieru?:
前もってお教えします。

oshieru has an educational nuance as in mentor, teacher to students or generally more casual context
shirase is not about teaching but Reporting (formal) as in reporting to coworker, customers, manager

教える can just mean "tell" in a non-teaching sense.

As in 電話番号を教えてください "Please tell me your phone number."

So in that sense, the meaning can be the same as 知らせる in some cases.

I don't have any advice on which would appear more frequently in that full-keigo style though.
