世の中 - 世の中が嫌になる

Hi!
I've read the sentence 世の中が嫌になる.
The meaning I understand is "I hate the society", 世の中 meaning society, like a kind of criticism. Please, is that right? I find this more specific than saying I hate the world.
Thanks a lot for your help.

that part is right, what needs to be changed is the "-ni naru" because that sounds like you will hate the world or that it is becoming that. I barely passed jlpt4 so maybe someone can tell you more precisely but personally i'd say 世の中が嫌いになった with this expression (ni natta, so you're implying that something happened that made you become in a way that you hate the world)
