What is your complaint. If it's about the content of the sentence in English or Japanese, that has nothing to do with Jisho.

I have to agree, the meaning of this sentence probably made sense in context, and has been translated to sound the most natural in English, but it doesn't work as an example out of context. This could be a teachable example if the English translation "Him, honest?" was removed. "What a joke." could be a plausible translation of 聞いて呆れる.
