This is a discussion about 何人も

This word also have the meaning of "many (people)"

The definition in the current page is not quite complete. For example in this sentence:

"何人もの人で船を操縦するのですが、その中心だったのが勝海舟という幕府の役人でした" (from 北 康利. 子どものための偉人伝 福沢諭吉. )

Jisho can't do anything about it directly. Jisho doesn't create the dictionary entries. They use freely available dictionary databases. You have to submit your suggestions there.

What exactly is the もの after 何人? Seriously, I thought this was more like 者 meaning-wise and not just particles. That would make the "a number of people" of 何人 quite appropriate, too.

And yes, everyone differs from anyone.

I'm pretty sure it is just the particles も and の, not もの.
