Any chance of updating the way we search kanji by radical?

If there could be a search method implemented where could type radicals in, I feel like that would shorten the time it takes to look up kanji a lot more quickly.

The input would probably need to be in Japanese though and couldn't convert from romaji because of radicals with homophonic names like 日編 and 火編 for instance. Just a thought, though. I use the radical search a lot, and while it's useful, I think it could be easier to use?

共具 radical as 八 is basically wrong.
曾 and many are hard to be classified by a radical, like LGBT, how to be signed by a gender?

I think this is a fun idea, and something that I've thought about in the past. Hopefully I can implement it one day.

@shuben, please stay on topic.
