How can I save words I looked up on Jisho.org?

I use Jisho a lot but I am needing to review words a lot that I have searched. Is there a way to do it here or do I need to use some other program?

You can't do it on here.

As @jakobd said, that is not possible. It's a feature I very much want to add, and I was hoping to get to it before this year is over. But we'll see if I can manage that :D

Is there such an option yet? Would be great to see it implemented!

If you use Chrome/Firefox, I've made an extension that does that. https://www.japanesewithanime.com/2017/01/jisho-kioku-extension.html

If the extension doesn't do something you want, then tell me see and I'll see if I can program it.

It would be great to be able to save the words in "favorites" or be able to access a history of the searches made. I use Jisho more than 5 years ago, and without a doubt it is the most complete dictionary I have found. I would be very happy to have that option to save words. :)

I would also like to be able to save words in like a ‘vocabulary’ to just come back to because I’m still learning a lot….

Hello! I wrote a userscript that let you save words in a list for reference in the future. You can install it from here:

https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/377040-save-favourite-words-jisho

Once installed, when you are logged in, a link "Add to my words list" will appear in the on the links section of a word. Click there to save the word. To consult the list of saved words, click on your username's link at the top right corner.

You can also download the list of words, I advise you to do so from time to time so you don't lose it, because as of today the words are saved in the brower cache accessible from the userscript. Also take into account that the script works locally so it is meant to be used always from the same computer or phone. You won't find your words synced accross different devices.

You can find more info and discussion in this old thread: https://jisho.org/forum/53b4ae046e73347cb6e80100-option-to-save-words

Cheers
