「スンスン」する?

So I was reading this article http://www.huffingtonpost.jp/2015/09/24/2-rabbits-2-cups-_n_8188482.html?ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000063 and I can't seem to find what the 「スンスン」of
「鼻をスンスンしています」means. I assume its like "twitching" or some sort of movement like the one a bunny's nose does. Anyone come across it before?
