This is a discussion about まんずり

Kanji?

Could this actually be written as 万摺り similar to the male version of 千摺り? I'm not a native speaker but I sense both slang terms originate from a similar root of 摺り.

Technically yes; and the full entry used to look like this:

まんずり・まんづり【万擦り・万摺り・万釣り】

But these other forms were removed last year under the pretense that they get no results on Google: http://www.edrdg.org/jmdictdb/cgi-bin/entr.py?svc=jmdict&sid=&e=1156975

I'm kind of surprised the katakana form (マンズリ) isn't listed though, since it's more popular.
