2. Kang Sang-jungKang Sang-jung is a second-generation Zainichi Korean political scientist and a professor at the University of Tokyo. The third son of a Korean migrant from the Masan area of Korea, Kang was born and grew up in Kumamoto in Kyūshū. He has described his childhood experiences in his autobiography "Zainichi", published in 1994. After studying at Waseda University, he was an exchange student at the University of Nurnberg, Erlangen in the then West Germany.
